We can control moisture content to 6-8% when is put in kiln, however, bamboo is easy to absorb water in the air after out of kiln, the moisture contend will rise up , but this part water will between cell, not go in side cell, it just make bamboo board expand , not change bamboo structure, so the bamboo won’t distort. Meanwhile, after bamboo board out kiln, moisture content fluctuate is little during balance, so the bamboo board won’t split,. If u find split board, it should be the moisture content is too high.
